New features deliver a new and tailored experience just for residents, all in a mobile-first, affordable experience backed by the scientific rigor of JBJS.

The questions and content have been updated to reflect exactly what residents need to study for upcoming exams. This means that content is matched to previous OITEs, references are easier to access and read, the UX is both quicker and more intuitive, and new features were built specifically for residents to ace their exams. The app is mobile-friendly and delivers unique functionality that no other orthopaedic learning platform offers.

JBJS Clinical Classroom is still available but delivers an experience aimed at program managers trying to monitor resident learning through reporting and exams. Instead, JBJS Ace is made for the sole purpose of resident test prep and only residents subscribe – no admins or program directors involved.

The app is due to launch in September 2026—plenty of time to help you prepare for the upcoming OITE Oct 29 – Nov 8.

The app will be available for download from the Apple App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android.
